Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. – Romans 12:1-2
At DeerGrove, we view worship as a conscious effort to place God at the center of our lives, both as a community and as individuals, and we invite everyone to actively participate with us to bring praise and glory to God.
Our desire is to experience and respond to the presence of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through reading of scripture, prayer, preaching of the Word, music, drama, art, and stillness, God is creating a space at DeerGrove for worship. It is our joy and privilege to invite others into the sacred place that God is shaping in our midst.
We value the freedom found in Biblical worship, and we aim to incorporate our uniqueness of age, culture, and life-experience in corporate worship. Worshipping together opens up our eyes to the Kingdom of God growing up all around us.  As a result, we are propelled forward, beyond our four walls, looking and listening for what God is already up to in the world. This leads us to love and serve each other and our neighbors, locally and globally, in creative and transformative ways.
